There's nothing fancy about this book and included software; it's a solid, old-school, blood-sweat-and-tears way to prep for the CFA exame. The book gives brief summaries of each CFA lesson and a lot of practice problems. The real stength is in the included software. It has loads of problems of every area and niche of the CFA exam. Want 40 questions on alternative investments or bond valuation? You got them. Doing the practice questions and tests day after day, week after week in the last three months before the exam was no doubt what put me over the top. A lot of the questions on the actual exam were easy compared to those in the software.
